Bhubaneshwar — Temple city of India

Bhubaneshwar, truly Bhuvaneshvara, city, capital of Odisha (Orissa) state, eastern India. It is arranged in the eastern aspect of the state on the Kuakhai River, a constituent stream of the Mahanandi River delta. Additionally, inside the city are the stone cut caverns of Khandagiri and Udayagiri, a zoological and organic park, and the old exhuming site of Sisupalgarh. Chandaka Wildlife Sanctuary lies only west of Bhubaneshwar.
